Simply put, this site does not collect or share any personal information unless you explicitly provide it to us. While our server does record a short term log of requests and the ip addresses that made them for diagnostic purposes, we do not use any higher level session tracking (cookies, browser fingerprinting, etc.) nor do we work with any third-parties. We don't use advertising so we have zero interest in knowing who you are and what you do outside of this site.
If you choose to create an account and enter personal information voluntarily, we will not share it with any outside parties aside from what is publicly listed on our pages nor will we use it for anything other than the core functionality of this site.
Cookies
While we do use a small number of cookies to store preferences that you select within the site (such as the number of columns you
used last in the gallery), they contain no information beyond the value of the setting. We have taken an effort to name those
cookies plainly and, wherever possible, keep the data stored in them in human readable form so that you can audit them. We do not
use cookies to track your usage, nor do we use them to connect your data with any outside databases - they are simply used to persist
choices that you have made on the site. Feel free to block or clear the cookies, as the site will function without them (albeit
falling back to defaults at times).
